Traveling as Couple
When you walk in to the lobby it is every thing you would expect of a 4 star or higher resort. But then you go to your room and it is very old and outdated especially the bathroom. The scenery was awesome from our window. ...read more

Solo Traveler
I do not intend to ever return to Cheyenne Mountain resort. The room was awful. The carpet was dirty and disgusting; my wife insisted on wearing her flip-flops inside the room. The drapes were ripped. The shower was unpleasant; poorly lit, cramped, and not updated. The pool was a distance from our room and thus we never had a chance to use it; the hotel is comprised of a series of buildings rather than a single building and this was not clear to us when we booked. Finally, and worst of all, when we arrived we were informed that we would be required to pay a $15 resort fee. We were told that the $15 dollars went towards the cost of room service, use of the pool, etc. The front desk person called it a resort fee. ...read more

Very nice setting. The view (if room is situated accordingly) of the golf course and mountains is superb. Housekeeping, as far as we could tell, was immaculate and above reproach.
